Radevit Active is an external preparation with a reparative, antipruritic and anti-inflammatory effect, which helps to improve trophism and tissue regeneration.
Release form and composition
The dosage form of Radevit Aktiva is an ointment for external use: homogeneous, from light yellow to white (in aluminum tubes of 10, 15, 20 or 35 g, 1 tube in a cardboard box).
Active substances in the composition of 10 g of ointment:
- Vitamin A (as retinol palmitate) - 1 mg;
- Vitamin D (colecalciferol) - 0.005 mg;
- Vitamin E (α-Tocopherol Acetate) 0.5 mg
Auxiliary components: butylhydroxyanisole, butylhydroxytoluene, emulsion wax, ethanol (ethyl alcohol 95%), liquid paraffin, glycerin (glycerol), purified water.
Indications for use
- Ichthyosis and ichthyosiform dermatoses, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, cracks, burns and skin erosion, uninfected ulcers and wounds, atopic dermatitis, dry skin, psoriasis, allergic contact dermatitis (beyond the stage of exacerbation) - complex treatment of patients of all ages;
- Chronic inflammatory and allergic skin diseases (in the subacute period after stopping the use of glucocorticosteroids, with easily irritated skin, including hypersensitivity to cosmetics) - prevention of relapse.
Contraindications
- Taking retinoids;
- Hypervitaminosis A, D, E;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
It is not recommended for nursing and pregnant women to apply Radevit Active to large areas of the skin.
Method of administration and dosage
Radevit Active is used externally.
The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected skin 2 times a day. Before applying the drug to cracks and other skin defects, they should be pretreated with antiseptic agents. Occlusive dressings can be used for severely peeling skin.
The duration of therapy is determined by the localization and severity of the process. The course can be several weeks.
Side effects
In the case of using the ointment in the acute period, itching and erythema may increase (until the severity of the process decreases, it is recommended to temporarily cancel the drug).
Also, during the period of application of Radevit Active, the development of allergic reactions can be observed.
To avoid overdose and the occurrence of hypervitaminosis, it is not recommended to apply the ointment to large areas of the skin (over 80%) for a course longer than one and a half months.

Drug interactions
With the combined use of Radevit Aktiva with certain drugs / substances, the following effects may occur:
- Other drugs containing retinoids, vitamins A, E and D: an increase in the likelihood of developing hypervitaminosis A, E, D (the combination is not recommended);
- Glucocorticosteroids: weakening the effects of Radevit Activ;
- Salicylates and glucocorticosteroids: reduction of side effects.
