Aspeckard
Pharmacological actions
Aspecard is an antiaggregatory (preventing platelet adhesion) agent. By group, this drug belongs to non-narcotic analgesics. In addition to antithrombotic action, Aspecard also has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
The main active ingredient of the drug is acetylsacilic acid, the properties of which determine the ability of Aspecard. The mechanism of action of acetylsalicylic acid is based on a violation of the synthesis of prostacyclins, prostaglandins and thromboxane. A decrease in the production of prostaglandins leads to a decrease in their pyrogenic effect (increase in temperature) on the centers of thermoregulation. As a result of the use of Aspecard, there is a decrease in the effect of prostaglandins on the sensitivity of nerve endings to pain mediators. The antiplatelet effect of the drug is due to the participation of acetylsalicylic acid in the irreversible disruption of the synthesis of thromboxane A 2 in platelets.
Aspecard in the digestive tract is absorbed completely and quickly. The maximum concentration in blood plasma is observed 10-20 minutes after ingestion. Aspecard binding to plasma proteins is 49-70% (depending on concentration). The drug is excreted in the urine in the form of metabolites. Penetrates into breast milk, synovial fluid (located in the joint cavity), cerebrospinal fluid through the blood-brain barrier.
Indications for use of Aspeckard
The drug is prescribed in the following cases:
- febrile syndrome accompanying infectious and inflammatory diseases;
- pain syndrome: migraine, toothache and headache, lumbago, neuralgia, myalgia, algodismenorrhea, chest radicular syndrome;

According to the instructions to Aspecard, the drug in increasing doses is prescribed in order to reduce the body's sensitivity to the effects of acetylsalicylic acid by re-using it in the form of Aspecard, starting with the lowest doses.
Also, this drug is prescribed to patients with "aspirin triad" and "aspirin" asthma to develop tolerance to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Instructions for the use of Aspeckard
