Amiridin is a drug that stimulates neuromuscular transmission.

Release form and composition

Amiridine is produced in the form of tablets (50 pcs. In polymer vials (vials)).

Active ingredient in 1 tablet: amiridin - 20 mg.

Indications for use

Diseases of the peripheral nervous system (myasthenic syndrome, polyneuritis, neuritis, myasthenia gravis, polyneuropathy, polyradiculoneuropathy), demyelinating diseases (in combination with other drugs);
Bulbar paralysis and paresis, organic lesions of the central nervous system, occurring with motor disorders (during the recovery period);
Intestinal atony.

Contraindications

Absolute:

Peptic ulcer with exacerbation;
Bronchial asthma;
Epilepsy;
Vestibular / extrapyramidal disorders;
Bradycardia;
Angina pectoris;
Pregnancy and lactation;
Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Relative (Amiridin is prescribed with caution against the background of the following diseases / conditions):

Stomach ulcer;
Diseases of the cardiovascular system;
Thyrotoxicosis.

It is necessary to take into account the ability of Amiridin to increase the tone of the uterus.

Method of administration and dosage

Amiridine is taken orally.

Recommended dosage regimen:

Diseases of the peripheral nervous system, myasthenia gravis: 1-3 times a day, 10-20 mg, course duration - from 1 to 2 months;
Myasthenic crises (short-term therapy): 5-6 times a day, 20-40 mg;
Intestinal atony (treatment / prevention): 2-3 times a day, 20 mg, course duration - from 1 to 2 weeks.

Side effects

Digestive system: increased peristalsis, hypersalivation, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea;
Others: dizziness, bradycardia.

special instructions

Alcohol should not be taken during therapy.

While taking Amiridin, you should refuse to drive vehicles and work that requires increased concentration of attention.

Drug interactions

With the combined use of Amiridin with certain drugs / substances, the following effects may develop:

Drugs that depress the central nervous system, including alcohol: increased sedation;
M-cholinomimetics, other cholinesterase inhibitors: enhancement of their action;
Other cholinergic drugs: an increase in the likelihood of developing a cholinergic crisis with myasthenia gravis;
Beta-blockers: potentiation of bradycardia.

Analogs

Amiridine analogs are: Neuromidin, Axamon, Ipigrix.

Store in a dark, dry place out of reach of children.
