Distribution and history

Thanks to the latest research by scientists, it turned out that regular use of mullet actively helps in the fight against various depression. This effect can be explained by the presence in fish of a huge amount of polyunsaturated acids, which are better known as Omega-3. Therefore, using it about 2-3 times a week, you can overcome problems with bad mood and depression.

Mullet is considered not a high-calorie fish, therefore it can be used in dietary nutrition. There are only 88 kcal per 100 g of fresh fish.

The nutritional value of mullet is represented by 17.5 g of proteins, 2 g of fat, while there are no carbohydrates at all. The content of various minerals in fish is also high. So, for example, 100 grams contains 6 μg of nickel, 4 μg of molybdenum, 430 μg of fluorine, 55 μg of chromium, as well as 0.7 mg of zinc and 165 mg of chlorine.
