In structure, the drug is a low molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone. Its molecular weight is the same as that of the analogue of Enterodesis - Gemodez, only Enterodesis is intended for oral administration. It dissolves well in water. The drug is not absorbed into the bloodstream, it acts in the intestine, binding toxins, decay products and the vital activity of pathogenic bacteria. The drug is not metabolized in the body; it is excreted through the intestines from the body along with associated toxins.

The therapeutic effect from the use of Enterodesis occurs 15-30 minutes after ingestion.

Indications

The drug is used for detoxification in cases of toxic lesions of the digestive tract by infectious pathogens.
