Stoparthrosis is a biologically active food additive (BAA), an additional source of glucosamine; participates in the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, restores the production of intra-articular fluid in case of its deficiency, strengthens the joint capsule, tendons and ligaments.
Release form and composition
Stoparthrosis is available in powder form for oral administration (3600 mg in sachets; 20 sachets in a cardboard box).
1 sachet contains:
- active substance: glucosamine sulfate - 1200 mg;
- auxiliary components: citric / malic acid (E330), aspartame (E951), sorbitol (E420), polyethylene glycol (E1521).
Pharmacological properties
Stoparthrosis is a biologically active food supplement designed to replenish the glucosamine deficiency in the body. Glucosamine sulfate is a naturally occurring amino monosaccharide of glucosamine, which plays an important role in maintaining the normal function of the musculoskeletal system. Present in all tissues of the body, glucosamine is involved in the formation of the connective tissue of the heart valves, tendons, ligaments, bones, nails. Promotes the production and retention of intra-articular fluid. A special tropism of the active substance manifests itself in the cartilage tissue, where it is quickly incorporated into the proteoglycans of the cartilage matrix.
Taking dietary supplements ensures the prevention of joint pathologies. In the treatment of osteoarthritis, the agent can be used as monotherapy or in combination with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
