special instructions
When treating poisoning, an excess of activated carbon should be created in the stomach (before washing it) and in the intestine (after washing the stomach). A decrease in its concentration in the environment entails the desorption of the bound substance into the intestinal lumen and its absorption into the blood, therefore, in order to prevent resorption, it is advisable to re-wash the stomach with activated charcoal and prescribe its ingestion. In case of poisoning with substances participating in enterohepatic circulation (cardiac glycosides, indomethacin, morphine, and other opiates), it is recommended to take Sorbex for several days. In the case of hypovitaminosis caused by prolonged use of Sorbex, a course of multivitamin intake should be taken.
Storage of the drug in air, especially at high humidity, reduces its sorption capacity.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and complex mechanisms
According to the instructions, Sorbex does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and other complex mechanisms that require the speed of psychomotor reactions and increased concentration of attention.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Application during pregnancy and lactation is possible if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the child, and only after consulting a doctor.
Drug interactions
Sorbex reduces the effectiveness of drugs taken orally simultaneously with it.
