Lyophilisate for preparation of suspension for injection SolcoTrichovac
Lyophilisate for preparation of suspension for injection SolcoTrichovac

SolcoTrichovak is a vaccine that has an immunostimulating and antibacterial effect, normalizing the vaginal microflora.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - lyophilisate for preparation of suspension for injection, which is a porous tablet of a lyophilized white substance; when dissolved in injection water, a translucent opaque suspension is formed [1 vaccination dose in vials, in a box of 1 or 3 vials complete, respectively, with one or three ampoules with a solvent (0.5 ml of water for injection)].

Active substance: inactivated lyophilized microorganisms of the strain of acidophilic lactobacilli (Lactobacillus acidophilus), in 1 dose - at least 7x10 9.

Auxiliary components: phenol (preservative), sodium chloride and repolymerized gelatin (hemacel).

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

The SolcoTrichovac vaccine activates nonspecific and specific immunity, has a positive effect on the vaginal microflora and prevents the risk of re-infection with vaginal infections prone to recurrence.

The drug increases the number of specific sIgA antibodies in the vaginal secretion, and also increases the amount of humoral IgG antibodies to atypical lactobacilli. After some time, the level of specific antibodies decreases, but the protective effect of the drug remains, which significantly reduces the likelihood of reinfection. SolcoTrichovak also activates polyclonal B-lymphocytes and enhances the phagocytic activity of T-lymphocytes and macrophages.

As a result of the activation of the body's defenses, the growth of Doderlein sticks is observed, the normal microflora of the vagina and the pH level of the mucous membrane are restored.

The pharmacokinetics of the vaccine have not been studied.

After 1 year, a single revaccination is carried out at a dose of 0.5 ml.

In the future, revaccination is carried out every 2 years.

To prepare the solution, the supplied solvent must be injected into the vial with the lyophilisate using a sterile syringe. Dissolution of a porous tablet occurs within 30 seconds, the finished suspension must have a homogeneous structure.

The solution for injection should be prepared immediately before administration. Before taking the drug into the syringe, shake the bottle.

When conducting radiation therapy and / or the simultaneous use of immunosuppressants, partial or complete loss of the effectiveness of the vaccine is possible.

The drug does not affect the speed of reactions and the ability to concentrate.

Reviews about SolkoTrikhovak

The vaccine has proven to be effective in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis. After using SolcoTrichovak, the number of relapses is significantly reduced.

Immunization has a number of advantages over taking antimicrobial agents: you can reduce the dose of drugs used and the duration of the course of therapy, which in turn reduces the incidence of side effects.

The price of SolkoTrichovak in pharmacies

The vaccine is not registered in Russia, so it is currently impossible to buy it in pharmacies.
