Release form and composition

The drug is produced in the form of a powder for preparing a solution for oral administration (pineapple, orange, lemon): pineapple - loose, pale yellow with white splashes, the prepared solution is green-yellow with a pineapple smell; orange - free-flowing, almost white with a pink tint, with white blotches, the prepared solution is orange with the smell of orange; lemon - loose, almost white with a yellow tint, with white blotches, the prepared solution is yellow with a slight green tint and opalescence, with a lemon scent [5 g in a sachet (sachet) of three-layer material, in a cardboard box 1, 5, 10 or 50 sachets (sachets) and instructions for use of Rinikolda HotMix].

The therapeutic effect of Rinikold HotMix is due to the action of its active substances:

• pheniramine: exhibits antiallergic effect - relieves itching of the eyes, throat and nose, hyperemia and swelling of the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx, weakens exudative manifestations;
• paracetamol: has an antipyretic and analgesic effect - it reduces the headache that occurs against the background of colds, pain in muscles and joints, sore throat, and also lowers high body temperature;
• phenylephrine: exhibits a vasoconstrictor effect - reduces edema and hyperemia of the paranasal sinuses and mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract;
• caffeine: has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system (CNS), which reduces drowsiness and fatigue, and enhances physical and mental performance.

Indications for use

Rinikold HotMix is recommended for the symptomatic treatment of colds and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), including influenza (rhinorrhea, febrile and pain syndrome).

Contraindications

Absolute:

• age up to 15 years;
• pregnancy and lactation;
• combination therapy with other drugs containing active substances included in the preparation;
• combined intake with tricyclic antidepressants, β-blockers, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, as well as a period within 2 weeks after their cancellation;
• hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of Rinikold HotMix powder.

Rinikold HotMix, instructions for use: method and dosage

The drug is taken orally.

Rinikold HotMix powder from 1 sachet (sachet) should be poured into a glass, filled with hot water and stirred until completely dissolved. You can add honey or sugar to the resulting solution. It is necessary to take the remedy 1-2 hours after a meal with plenty of liquid.

It is recommended for adolescents over 15 years of age and adults to use 1 sachet 3-4 times a day with intervals between doses of 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is no more than 4 sachets.
