Zentel is an antihelminthic and antiprotozoal (suppresses the vital activity of protozoa) drug.

Zentel is active against intestinal and tissue forms of parasites, eggs, larvae and adult helminths. The active ingredient of the drug is albendazole.

The use of Zentel contributes to the disruption of glucose transport processes, functional disorders in the body of the helminth, its subsequent death and removal from the human body.

After oral administration, Zentel is poorly absorbed, significantly enhances this process by taking fatty foods. The maximum concentration of Zentel in the blood is observed 2-5 hours after application. Zentel is excreted mainly through the intestines with bile and in small quantities with urine.

  • giardiasis in children (pathogens are microorganisms of the family of protozoa - lamblia);
  • Larva Migrans skin syndrome (tortuous skin inflammation caused by larvae of nematodes);
  • cystic echinococcosis (development in the liver, lungs and other organs of cystic and single formations that provoke tapeworm larvae);

Zentel instructions for use and dosage
