Gynoflor - antimicrobial complex
pharmachologic effect
Gynoflora contains non-pathogenic bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus, which form a healthy vaginal microflora, create an internal pH environment that is unfavorable for the reproduction and development of pathogenic microorganisms.
Thanks to the bacteria that make up Gynoflora, the drug has a bactericidal effect, producing hydrogen peroxide and bacteriocins.
Another common name for the drug is Gynoflore, because of the second component, estriol, a synthetic substance similar in action to hormones produced by the ovaries. Estriol promotes the growth and reproduction of cells of the vaginal mucosa, improves the condition of its epithelium.
In general, thanks to its components, Gynoflor reduces the risk of local infections, improves the condition of the mucous membrane, and normalizes the vaginal microflora.
The action of Gynoflora begins only after several hours after its introduction.

Indications for use
Gynoflor is prescribed to restore the vaginal microflora after systemic, local therapy with antibiotics or chemotherapeutic agents.
There are reviews about Gynoflor, which is successfully used during menopause, postmenopause as an additional drug in hormone replacement therapy.
Gynoflor is used to stop vaginal discharge of unknown origin, with candidiasis that does not require the use of antifungal agents, to prevent its recurrence, to treat vaginitis not complicated by infections.
Instructions for the use of Gynoflor
As indicated in the instructions, Gynoflor is injected deep into the vagina, after moistening the candle with water.
Treatment is usually started a few days after menstruation. Gynoflor candles are introduced at night before bedtime.
To treat infections, prevent vaginal discharge, to restore microflora, it is prescribed to take Gynoflor one to two suppositories / day. Treatment usually lasts 6-12 days.
For the treatment of atrophic vaginitis, prevention of vaginal discharge during menopause, postmenopause, one Gynoflor suppository is prescribed one r / day. Treatment is carried out for 6-12 days, after which one candle is administered one or two r / week.

Side effects

Contraindications
