Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Broncho-Vaxom for children is an immunostimulating agent of bacterial origin that induces an immune response in the mucous membrane of the digestive tract, especially in Peyer's patches (PB) of the small intestine. Here, the drug activates antigen-presenting cells, which stimulate cells responsible for specific immunity.
Also, Broncho-Vaxom for children helps to increase the number of circulating B-lymphocytes, after stimulation of which there is an increase in the production of polyclonal antibodies, especially serum IgG and IgA secreted by saliva and the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract. It is these antibodies that represent the first line of defense against a variety of bacteria and viruses (infectious agents).
Broncho-Vaxom for children has a powerful stimulating effect on most types of leukocytes, as evidenced by an increase in the number of cells of the lymphoid and myeloid series and a selective increase in the expression of receptors on their surface.
Taken together, the described data confirm that the drug, when it enters the body, triggers biological reactions that enhance the immune defense against infections.
Clinical data have confirmed that Broncho-Vaxom for children, increasing the body's resistance to infections, reduces the incidence of acute infectious diseases of the respiratory tract, shortens their duration, reduces the frequency of exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, and also reduces the need for other drugs, especially antibiotics.
