Pharmacy
Pharmacy (German Apotheke, from Greek apotheke - storehouse, warehouse) is an institution where medicines, sanitary and patient care items, dressings are stored, prepared and dispensed.
Types of pharmacies:
- Hospital - is part of the hospital and provides it with medicines and other items of the pharmacy range;
- Military - a subdivision of a medical center of a military medical institution or a military unit; carries out their supply with medical equipment, as well as preparation and dispensing of medicines;
- Volnaya (historical) - provides the population with medicines at the prices of the pharmaceutical tax established in the system of city and zemstvo self-government of pre-revolutionary Russia;
- Homeopathic - manufactures and dispenses medicines according to the prescriptions of homeopathic doctors;
- Interhospital - provides several hospitals with medicines and other items of the pharmacy range;
- Central district - carries out organizational, methodological and administrative management of pharmacies in an urban or rural administrative district.
