Phosphogliv forte is a combined drug with hepatoprotective, membrane stabilizing and antiviral effects.
The preparation contains phosphatidylcholine, which is the main component of phospholipids and a structural element of intracellular and cell membranes. When damaged, it has a cytoprotective effect, restoring their structure and function.
Phosphatidylcholine, normalizing the metabolism of lipids and proteins, prevents the loss of enzymes and other active substances in hepatocytes. Promotes the restoration of the detoxification function of the liver. Reduces the risk of developing liver fibrosis and cirrhosis by inhibiting the formation of connective tissue.
Glycyrrhizic acid and salts (glycyrate) have anti-inflammatory effects. They stimulate the production of interferons, increasing phagocytosis, increase the activity of cells of the immune system to suppress the reproduction of viruses in the liver and other organs.
Antioxidant and membrane stabilizing activity of glycyrate contributes to its hepatoprotective effect. With non-infectious liver damage, it has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects, enhancing the effect of endogenous glucocorticosteroids.
Promotes the regression of skin diseases due to the membrane stabilizing and anti-inflammatory action of the components, limiting the spread of the skin lesion process.

In the intestine, the absorption of the drug components takes place both in the form of a whole molecule and in the form of bioactive hydrolysis products (choline, unsaturated fatty acids, glycyrrhetic acid).
