Flora-Dophilus + FOS is a biologically active food additive (BAA), a source of lacto- and bifidobacteria, probiotic microorganisms with a broad spectrum of action and high activity, normalizing the intestinal flora.
Release form and composition
The drug is available in the form of capsules of 300 mg and 490 mg (in a plastic bottle: 490 mg in 1 bottle 120 pcs.).
1 capsule contains:
- active ingredients: 7 species of bacteria - Lactobacillus (L.) acidophilus R053, L. plantarum R202, L. casei R215, L. rhamnosus R049, Bifidobacterium (B.) longum R023, B. bifidum R071, B. breve R070 and fruictooligocaccharides (fructooligosaccharide or FOS);
- excipients: E460, E470.
Component properties
Biologically active food supplement Flora-Dofilus + FOS consists of bacteria that, being microorganisms of the natural gastrointestinal environment, are involved in the digestive and metabolic processes of the intestine:
- the creation of colonies of lacto- and bifidobacteria in the lower gastrointestinal tract, favorable conditions for the preservation of the internal microecological environment;
- the production of antibiotic substances that inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria;
- synthesis of vitamin K, which ensures a sufficient level of blood clotting;
- synthesis of folic acid, essential amino acids, B vitamins;
- participation in the fermentation of carbohydrates, hydrolysis of proteins, dissolution of fiber, saponification of fats;
- production of acids, the organic nature of which lowers the PH environment;
- increased absorption of vitamin P (reduces capillary permeability and fragility) and calcium;
- stimulation of immunity, strengthening the body's resistance, increasing the activity of lysozyme.
Indications for use
- treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) caused by dysbiosis, which developed after poisoning, acute infections, taking chemotherapy drugs, including antibiotics and aspirin;
- chronic bowel disease, accompanied by spasms, constipation, flatulence;
- fungal diseases in gynecological practice (as part of complex therapy);
- prevention of pathologies of infectious and oncological etiology, anemia, rickets, allergic diseases;
- normalization of blood clotting, hemorrhagic diathesis;
- preparation for a planned surgical operation on the abdominal organs;
- strengthening the detoxification effect in the treatment of alcoholism and tobacco smoking;
- weight loss programs.
Contraindications
Individual hypersensitivity to drug components.
Recommendations for use
Reception Flora-Dofilus + FOS is indicated only on the recommendation of a doctor!
Capsules are taken orally after meals (after 20-60 minutes), dissolved in the mouth or simply washed down with warm water.
The recommended dosage has age restrictions:
- adults: 1 pc. 1-3 times a day, course duration - 4-6 weeks;
- children 8 years and older: 1 pc. 2 times a day for two weeks;
- children 4-7 years old: 1/2 each. 2 times a day, the course of therapy is 2 weeks;
- children 1-3 years old: 1/3 pcs. 2 times a day, duration of treatment - 2 weeks;
- infants under 1 year: 1/4 each 2 times a day, the course of admission is 2 weeks.
For ease of use in infants and young children, the capsule can be dissolved in a little water or mixed with food.
special instructions
Flora-Dofilus + FOS is not a drug.
If necessary, it is possible to repeat the course of taking the product.
The content of the prebiotic FOS in the dietary supplement, which is a breeding ground for the reproduction of beneficial bacteria, creates favorable conditions for a significant increase in their content in the body.
The reasons for the imbalance in the microbial balance in the intestine or dysbiosis include weakening of the immune system, inadequate or unbalanced nutrition, all kinds of stress, inflammatory pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract, allergies, taking antibiotics, hormones, sulfonamides and other drugs. The risk group includes citizens living in ecologically unfavorable regions or whose profession is associated with a state of constant mental stress.
