Sedative collection is a herbal medicinal product of sedative, hypotensive and antispasmodic action.
Release form and composition
Currently, two types of herbal preparations of sedative action are produced - the Soothing collection No. 2 and the Soothing collection No. 3.
Soothing collection No. 2 is available in the following forms:
- vegetable collection - powder (2 g each in filter bags, in a cardboard box 10, 20, 24, 30 or 50 filter bags);
- vegetable collection - crushed raw materials (30, 40, 50, 75 or 100 g in paper bags, one package in a cardboard box; 50 g each in cardboard boxes with an attachment of paper, polymer or polypropylene bags).
Soothing collection No. 3 is available in the following forms:
- vegetable collection - powder (2 g each in filter bags, 10 or 20 filter bags in a cardboard box);
- vegetable collection - crushed raw materials (50, 75 or 100 g in paper, plastic or polypropylene bags, in a cardboard bundle 1 package; 35 or 50 g in paper bags, in a cardboard bundle one package; 25, 50 or 100 g in multilayer paper bags, one bag in a cardboard box).
Composition of the Soothing Collection No. 2:
- motherwort grass - 40%;
- peppermint leaves - 15%;
- hop seed - 20%;
- licorice roots - 10%;
- Valerian officinalis (roots and rhizomes) - 15%.
Composition of the Soothing Collection No. 3:
- oregano herb - 25%;
- thyme herb - 25%;
- motherwort grass - 25%;
- valerian officinalis (roots and rhizomes) - 17%;
- sweet clover grass - 8%.
Indications for use
Sedative fees are used in the complex treatment of the following diseases and conditions:
- increased nervous irritability;
- migraine;
- insomnia;
- neurasthenia;
- climacteric disorders;
- arterial hypertension (initial stage);
- vegetative dystonia.
Contraindications
Herbal preparations are contraindicated in case of increased individual sensitivity to any of the components.
Method of administration and dosage
The sedative preparations are taken orally in the form of infusions.
Collection-powder: for preparation of the infusion, one filter-package of the Soothing collection is placed in an enamel or glass dish and 100 ml (1/2 cup) (collection No. 3) or 200 ml (1 glass) (collection No. 2) boiling water is poured. Then the infusion is closed and left for 15 minutes. The filter bag is wrung out. Take 100-200 ml 3 or 4 times a day half an hour before meals. The course of treatment is 10-14 days. After 10 days, the course can be repeated.
Crushed raw materials: for the preparation of the infusion, 5 g of collection No. 3 or 10 g of collection No. 2 is placed in an enamel container and 200 ml (1 glass) of boiling water is poured, then heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, and then left for 45 minutes. The resulting infusion is filtered, the raw material is squeezed out, the volume is brought to 200 ml by adding boiled water to the infusion. Soothing collection No. 2 is taken warm, 1/3 cup 20-30 minutes before meals, 2 times a day, the course of treatment is 2-4 weeks. Soothing collection No. 3 is taken in 1/3 cup 30 minutes before meals 4 times a day, the course of treatment is 10-14 days, the break between two courses is at least 10 days.
It is recommended to shake the prepared infusion before use.
A repeated course of treatment is prescribed by a doctor.
Side effects
Allergic reactions may occur during the treatment period.

With prolonged use of the Sedative fees in doses that exceed the recommended ones, drowsiness, muscle weakness and decreased performance are possible.
During the use of sedative charges, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other activities potentially dangerous to human life and health.
Drug interactions
When used simultaneously with hypnotics and other drugs that depress the central nervous system, the effect of these drugs is enhanced.
Terms and conditions of storage
Store in a dry, dark place at room temperature. Keep out of the reach of children.
