Release form and composition
Dosage form - cream for external use: uniform consistency, opaque, white or slightly yellowish (15, 20 and 30 g each in aluminum tubes, in a cardboard box 1 tube).
Composition of 1 g of cream:
- active substances: isoconazole nitrate - 10 mg, diflucortolone valerate - 1 mg;
- auxiliary components: purified water, disodium edetate, sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, cetostearyl alcohol (60% cetyl alcohol and 40% stearyl alcohol), white petrolatum, liquid paraffin.

The action of Travocort is due to the properties of its active substances:
- Itraconazole is a synthetic imidazole derivative that has antibacterial and antifungal effects. Acts bactericidal and fungicidal. The mechanism of action is explained by the ability to block the synthesis of bacterial proteins and suppress the synthesis of ergosterol of the membranes of fungal cells, as a result of which their death occurs. Active against gram-positive bacteria (Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp.), Yeast, yeast-like and mold fungi (Candida spp., Pityrosporum orbiculare / ovale), dermatophytes (Microsporum spp., Trichophyton spp., Trichophyton spp., Epidermneophyton spp., Epidermneophyton spp. minutissimum (erythrasma causative agent);
- diflucortolone valerate is a glucocorticosteroid (GCS) that has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antipruritic and anti-exudative effects.

Indications for use
According to the instructions, Travocort is used for the treatment of dermatoses of combined etiology, sensitive to GCS therapy, infected with bacterial or fungal flora.
The drug is also used for the following fungal skin lesions, including secondarily infected, accompanied by severe eczema-like and inflammatory symptoms:
- erythrasma;
- candidiasis;
- mycoses of smooth skin and feet, including those with localization in the interdigital spaces, in the folds and in the area of the external genital organs: rubrophytosis, trichophytosis, microsporia, epidermophytosis, balanoposthitis, etc.
Contraindications
- viral skin lesions (chickenpox, shingles);
- cutaneous manifestations of syphilis;
- lupus;
- post-vaccination skin reactions;
- children under 2 years old;
- I trimester of pregnancy;
- hypersensitivity to any component of Travocort.
Instructions for use Travocort: method and dosage
Cream Travocort should be applied in a thin layer to the affected areas and rubbed lightly. Frequency rate of application - 2 times a day, morning and evening.
The duration of treatment is individual, but should not exceed 2 weeks.
Side effects
Travocort is generally well tolerated, even by patients with sensitive skin. In rare cases, the drug causes skin irritation and allergic reactions.
When applying the cream to large areas of the body (> 10% of the total body surface area) under occlusive dressings and / or for a long period (more than 4 weeks), the development of side reactions characteristic of glucocorticosteroids is possible: striae, skin atrophy, acne-like dermatitis, telangiectasias, hypertrichosis, perioral dermatitis, as well as systemic effects (suppression of the function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system).
Overdose
Overdose cases have not been reported. However, with prolonged or excessive use of Travocort, a chronic overdose may develop, accompanied by the side effects described above. Treatment in this case is symptomatic.

The cream is intended exclusively for external use.
When using the drug, care should be taken: do not apply to open wounds, avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact of the cream in the eyes, immediately rinse them thoroughly with clean warm water.
For patients with perioral dermatitis and rosacea, it is not recommended to apply the drug to the skin of the face.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and complex mechanisms
No negative influence of Travocort components on cognitive and psychophysical functions of a person was revealed.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Cream Travocort is contraindicated for use in the I trimester of pregnancy, in the II and III trimesters it should be used with caution.
