Reviews about Sibektan
Medical specialists leave positive reviews about Sibektan, since it is a drug with proven effectiveness. In the course of a clinical study, the results of patients with chronic viral hepatitis aged 23 to 51 years who received treatment with interferon-α drugs before the start of the study were studied. Patients took 2 Sibektan tablets 4 times a day for 30-40 days. The main criteria for evaluating the efficacy of the drug were biochemical parameters observed before and after the course of treatment, as well as the dynamics of clinical symptoms. In addition, during the study, all adverse events were recorded, on the basis of which the safety of the herbal remedy was assessed.
The positive dynamics of biochemical after therapy was observed in 2 / 3 patients with mild and moderate activity of the process, 50% of patients with severe activity of the process. Favorable dynamics were also observed in patients with ineffective interferon therapy.
Of the side effects, only 1 patient had an increase in stool up to 3-4 times a day, but drug withdrawal was not required.
Thus, according to the conclusion of medical specialists, Sibektan is effective in the treatment of chronic viral hepatitis and is well tolerated. However, the normalization of biochemical parameters is noted within a short period of time, therefore, the issue of a longer treatment is being considered.
