Sialor dosage forms:

• tablet for preparation of a solution for topical application: from black to yellow-brown color with a bluish tinge, odorless, with a possible metallic sheen; 2% solution prepared from a tablet - from dark brown to light brown, transparent, with possible slight opalescence (in blisters of 1 pc. complete with a solvent in ampoules of 10 ml and 1 bottle with a pipette cap or a spray lid; in a cardboard box 1 set);
• set of 2% (10 ml of the finished solution in vials with a dropper nozzle included; 1 set in a cardboard box).

Active ingredients in 1 tablet:

• silver proteinate (protargol);
• polyvinyl-N-pyrrolidone.

Sialor has an astringent effect with a pronounced protective and antiseptic effect.

The silver ions included in the preparation prevent the penetration of microorganisms into the skin and mucous membranes, exhibit bactericidal and bacteriostatic activity against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (such as moraxella catarrhalis, Staphylococcus aureus, pneumococcus), fungal flora.

Indications for use

According to the instructions, Sialor is prescribed as a preventive and auxiliary agent for inflammatory processes of the mucous membranes of ENT organs in order to maintain them in a normal functional state.

Contraindications

• combined therapy with drugs containing alkaloids and organic bases (adrenaline);
• pregnancy;
• period of breastfeeding;
• individual intolerance to the components contained in Sialor.

Sialor instructions for use: method and dosage

The solution prepared from tablets is applied topically: applied to mucous membranes or injected. Before using the product, the mucous membranes are washed and cleaned.

To prepare a 2% solution, pour the solvent into the attached empty bottle and add 1 tablet. Then the bottle is shaken until the tablet is completely dissolved (on average, 8-10 minutes).

The recommended dose is 1-3 drops or 1 injection of the solution 3 times a day. The duration of therapy varies from 5 to 7 days.
