ImoFlora is a biologically active food additive (BAA), a source of live lactic acid bacteria Bifidobacterium (BB-12).

Release form and composition

ImoFlora is available in the form of orange-flavored chewable tablets (0.6 g each: 1 pc. In a sachet; 20 pcs. In a plastic bottle, in a cardboard box 1 bottle).

1 tablet contains:

  • active substance: bacteria Bifidobacterium (BB-12) - not less than 1 × 10 9 CFU (colony-forming units) per 1 g;
  • auxiliary components: fructose, mannitol, magnesium stearate, citric acid, glyceryl behenate, orange flavor; possibly - traces of gluten, lactose, milk.

Component properties

Live lactic acid bacteria Bifidobacterium (BB-12) are highly resistant to gastric juices and bile, which allows them to reach the intestines while maintaining their properties. Having attached to the intestinal walls, they multiply, and in the process of their life they produce lactic and acetic acids. The acidic environment in the intestine helps to inhibit the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria.

Bifidobacteria enhance the absorption of iron and calcium ions, vitamins D, K, B vitamins in the intestinal wall, increasing the body's resistance to unfavorable environmental conditions.

Under the influence of bifidobacteria BB-12, the production of local and systemic antibodies increases by increasing the immune activity of cells, which has a positive effect on human immunity in general, and reduces the risk of developing intestinal and respiratory infections.

Bifidobacteria contribute to the normalization of intestinal microflora, restoring bowel function in case of constipation, reducing the risk of developing acute diarrhea (including infectious), and reducing its duration.

In addition, the intake of bifidobacteria BB-12 contributes to the restoration of microflora, disturbed by the intake of antibacterial agents.

Indications for use

  • dysbacteriosis of various etiologies, caused by quantitative and / or qualitative impairment of the composition of normal microflora;
  • functional disorders of the intestine - constipation, diarrhea, including against the background of irritable bowel syndrome;
  • atopic dermatitis;
  • the use of drugs that can cause intestinal dysfunction, including antibiotics;
  • prevention of weakening of the immune system;
  • unbalanced diet or stress - to prevent disorders of the digestive system.

Contraindications

Should not be taken with established hypersensitivity to the components of the product.

Recommendations for use

Tablets are taken orally: adults - by gradual chewing and swallowing, children aged 1–6 years - after preliminary dissolution in liquid.

The activation of bifidobacteria begins in the oral cavity during the chewing of tablets, so they should not be swallowed immediately.

The recommended dosage has no age restrictions: 1 pc. per day, course duration - 30 days.

If necessary, the course can be repeated.
