Dikrasin is a combined drug for external use with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - solution for external use (65 ml in vials, in a cardboard box 1 bottle).

Content of active ingredients in 100 ml of Dikrasin:

  • Concentrated hydrochloric acid - 3.3 g;
  • St. John's wort herb - 0.46 g;
  • Oregano herb - 0.46 g;
  • Hawthorn flowers and leaves - 0.3 g.

Excipients: purified water.

Indications for use

  • Osteoarthritis of the knee, hip, shoulder joints;
  • Osteochondrosis;
  • Deforming osteoarthritis with polyradiculoneuritis and lesions of the spinal column;
  • Treatment of inflammatory processes in the periarticular tissues of large joints: joint capsule, ligaments, surrounding muscles and tendons;
  • Ankylosing spondylitis (ankylosing spondylitis);
  • Spondylosis deformans;
  • Therapy of functional disorders and joint pain;
  • Articular syndrome in rheumatism, muscle and ligament sprains, dislocations, sports injuries and other diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Contraindications

Contraindication to the use of Dikrasin is:

  • III-IV degree osteoarthritis of the hip joint;
  • Degenerative-dystrophic lesions of the spine with disorders in the vertebral joints;
  • Heart failure II-III degree;
  • The period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • Diseases and injuries of the skin of infectious, inflammatory, allergic etiology, skin rashes;
  • The period of menstrual bleeding;
  • Age up to 15 years;
  • Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Method of administration and dosage

Dikrasin is intended for external use. Having previously shaken the solution well, it is applied to clean, dry skin and rubbed in with light massaging movements. The procedure can be performed by the patient himself or by a massage therapist.

Treatment of injuries of single joints is carried out by applying 15-20 drops of the solution directly to the joint, followed by rubbing. The procedure is carried out daily or once every 2 days. The duration of the course of treatment for local therapy is from 18 to 20 days. A repeated course can be carried out in 14 days.

The full course of treatment is prescribed for osteochondrosis, ankylosing spondylitis, deforming spondylosis, it is carried out according to the established scheme:

  • Day 1: the patient's whole body is massaged with rubbing in 25-30 ml of solution for 0.5 hour with even distribution over all areas of the skin. Massage should begin with the phalanges of the toes, gradually rising up, then go to the back of the body, neck, chest, arms. It is necessary to observe the direction of massaging movements, rubbing is always carried out from the arms and legs to the body. Areas of the body with impaired skin integrity should not be treated. Patients who cannot stand the smell of the solution are advised to use a wet mask;
  • Day 2: Dikrasin is not used, massage is performed with any neutral ointment base;
  • Day 3: water procedures.

This alternation is repeated 6 times, approximately 3 vials of the solution should be used during the course of treatment. When treating severe forms of diseases, it is allowed to carry out 2-3 full courses of treatment with a break of 14 days between them.

With satisfactory tolerance of the drug, 14 days after the full course, the patient can continue treatment with local rubbing of the drug into the skin. Frequency rate of procedures - 1 time in 2 days.

With diabetic vascular macroangiopathy and obliterating endarteritis, local rubbing of the solution is recommended after completing the full course of treatment.

It is not necessary to change your lifestyle during the treatment period.

Side effects

A side effect of the use of Dikrasin can sometimes be a minor rash and hyperemia. Against the background of rubbing, itching may appear, the cause of which is the excretion of salts and toxins dissolved by the drug through the pores. In this case, a neutral ointment is rubbed into the skin of areas with dermatological manifestations until the skin irritation completely disappears, and healthy areas of the body are treated according to the established scheme.

In case of exacerbation of the symptoms of the disease during the period of application of the solution, the therapeutic course should not be discontinued. In case of severe exacerbation, it is recommended to increase the interval between procedures.

Patients prone to allergic reactions are advised to test the tolerance of the drug before starting therapy. To do this, rub a small amount of the solution into the skin of the forearm; in the absence of irritation, the agent can be used.

The drug should not be rubbed into the skin of the face, scalp and groin area, as well as applied to a damp body.

Do not allow the solution to get on the mucous membranes of the eyes, after applying the drug, wash your hands thoroughly. If the solution accidentally gets into the eyes, they should be rinsed several times with a sodium bicarbonate solution prepared in the proportion: 1 teaspoon of baking soda to 1 liter of water.

With frequent contact, Dikrasin can irritate the skin of the hands, therefore, masseurs and persons who regularly rub in the agent should use medical gloves.

Drug interactions

Dikrasin cannot be used simultaneously with other dosage forms for external use.

Combined use with drugs for injection and oral administration is allowed.
