Dermozolone is a combined preparation for external use with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antifungal, antipruritic, antiallergic action.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - ointment (5 g in tubes, in a cardboard box 1 tube).
Content of active ingredients in 1 g of the preparation:
- Prednisolone - 5 mg;
- Clioquinol in a hydrophilic ointment base - 30 mg.
Indications for use
The use of Dermozolone is indicated for the treatment of eczema, diaper rash and other dermatological diseases complicated by a fungal or bacterial infection, or characterized by allergic inflammation.
The ointment is also used for limited superficial bacterial or fungal infections of the skin, characterized by allergic inflammation, after ineffective therapy with other antibacterial and antifungal drugs.
Contraindications
- Infectious viral skin diseases;
- Lupus;
- Skin neoplasms;
- Cutaneous manifestations of syphilis;
- Hypersensitivity to iodine.
Method of administration and dosage
Dermozolone is used externally.
The ointment is applied to the affected area in a thin layer 1-3 times a day.
Side effects
When applied to large areas of the skin and / or prolonged use, Dermozolone can cause systemic side effects that are characteristic of glucocorticosteroids.
Patients with hypersensitivity to iodine may develop allergic reactions.
