  • II and III trimesters of pregnancy (for local use);
  • children under 12 years old;

During lactation (breastfeeding), the drug must also be used under strict medical supervision.

Method of administration and dosage

If there are no other prescriptions, Dactarin is recommended to be used according to the following treatment regimens:

  • externally (cream): the drug is applied to the affected skin surface and rubbed in with gentle movements 2 times a day. The therapy is continued until the symptoms are completely healed and for several days after their disappearance in order to prevent recurrence of the disease. With onychomycosis, continuous treatment is carried out for at least 12 weeks (until the nail plates are completely restored);
  • externally (aerosol, spray powder) for the purpose of therapy: the drug is sprayed from a distance of ~ 8 cm onto the affected surface of the feet until lightly moistened. The procedure is carried out 2 times a day: in the morning and before bedtime (for more successful treatment, the inner surface of socks and shoes should also be treated). The duration of therapy is 4 weeks;
  • externally (aerosol, spray powder) for the purpose of prevention: if there is a risk of infection with fungal diseases (swimming pool, sauna, gym, etc.), feet and interdigital folds should be treated with the drug before visiting public places;
  • locally (vaginal suppositories, cream) intravaginally: suppositories are inserted deep into the vagina 1 time per day (before bedtime) 1-2 pcs. within 2 weeks. The cream is applied once a day to the affected vaginal mucosa, the treatment course is 1 week;
  • topically (oral gel) for the treatment of the oral mucosa: 0.5 scoops 4 times a day (to enhance the effect, it is recommended not to swallow the gel for some time, but to hold it in the mouth).

During treatment with Dactarin, mycological control should be carried out and, according to its results, the duration of the course of therapy, which usually varies from 2 to 6 weeks, should be determined.

The can and the bottle with spray powder must be shaken well before use.
