Hyposol is a combined external drug with an antibacterial and tissue regeneration effect.
Release form and composition
The dosage form of Hyposol is an aerosol for topical use: when leaving the container, it forms a yellow-orange foam (57 g each in aerosol cans with a continuous valve, 1 can in a cardboard box).
Active ingredients in 100 mg aerosol:
- sea buckthorn oil - 26.316 mg;
- sulfaetidol - 1.754 mg;
- methyluracil (dioxomethyltetrahydropyrimidine) 1.754 mg
Auxiliary components: propyl parahydroxybenzoate (nipazole) - 0.088 mg; polysorbate (tween-80) - 2.105 mg; ethanol (ethyl alcohol) - 0.439 mg; cetostearyl alcohol (fatty alcohols) - 4.035 mg; a mixture of freons 22 and 142b (difluorochloroethane + difluorochloromethane) - 12.281mg; purified water - 51.228 mg.
Indications for use
- erosion of the cervix, colpitis, nonspecific vulvitis;
- II – III degree burns;
- erosive and ulcerative lesions of the periodontal mucosa and oral cavity;
- proctitis, conditions after operations on the perineum and rectum;
- conditions after extirpation of the uterus / diathermocoagulation of the cervix.
Contraindications
- redundancy of granulations in the area of aerosol application;
- individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Before prescribing Hyposol, lactating and pregnant women need to balance the expected benefit with the possible risk.
Method of administration and dosage
Hyposol is applied topically (to the affected area).
Shake the aerosol can 10-15 times before use. Then, after removing the safety cap, put on the valve head and gently press on its head. The volume of the drug when pressed all the way for 1 second is 7 ml of foam.
Recommended dosage regimen:
- proctitis, proctosigmoiditis: 14-28 ml of foam in the rectum, course duration - 14-21 days; before use, you need to make a cleansing enema with a decoction of herbs (chamomile, calendula);
- gynecological diseases: 7-14 ml of foam; Hyposol is used 1–2 times a day (vulvitis, colpitis) or 2 times a day (cervical erosion); the duration of the course is 8-30 days. In order to remove mucus before introducing the drug into the vagina, it is necessary to douch with a decoction of herbs (chamomile, string) or with a solution of nitrofural 1: 5000, 0.02% chlorhexidine digluconate, 2% sodium bicarbonate;
- diseases of the oral mucosa and periodontal disease: 3-5 times a day, the affected area must be covered with foam for 10-15 minutes; course duration - 7-14 days;
- burns (open method of treatment, carried out after cleaning the wound surface from necrotic tissue and exudate): 1-2 times a day, the affected area must be covered with foam with a uniform layer 10-15 mm thick;
- wounds of a small area: the affected area must be covered with a sterile napkin with the preparation applied to it; the duration of the course is determined by the rate of epithelialization of wounds.
Before each use, the cylinder head should be rinsed with boiled water or boiled for 5 minutes.
