Biovestin is a liquid probiotic preparation containing live bifidobacteria.
Release form and composition
The biologically active additive is available in the form of an emulsion for oral administration (in glass bottles of 12 and 50 ml).
The therapeutic effect of Biovestin is due to the contained bifidobacteria Bifidobacterium adolescentis MC-42 in a live active form (in 1 bottle - 10 9 CFU / ml). This strain is characterized by a high growth rate and activity against many pathogenic microorganisms, including Staphylococcus aureus.
Indications for use

Method of administration and dosage
Biovestin is recommended to be taken half an hour before a meal or an hour after a meal, diluting it immediately before use in water at room temperature, juice or milk.
For the prevention of dysbiosis, the course of taking the drug lasts from 2 to 4 weeks and is carried out 3-4 times a year. In severe cases, treatment can last up to 2-3 months.
The daily dose of Biovestin depends on age:
- Children under 1 year old take 1 ml of the drug;
- Children from 1 to 6 years old - 1 ml for each year of life per day;
- 6 ml of the drug is recommended for children under 12;
- Adults take 12 ml of Biovestin per day.
The drug is effective when taken simultaneously with antibiotics and other drugs and does not require their withdrawal.
