Aflubin is a homeopathic medicine with antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antiviral effects. The drug affects local immunity, exhibits detoxification properties, normalizes the protective function of the mucous membranes of the respiratory system.
Release form and composition
The drug is produced in the form of sublingual homeopathic tablets and drops for oral administration.
The main active ingredients of the preparation: aconite, gentian, iron phosphate, bryony, lactic acid.
Indications for use
Aflubin is used for the following diseases / conditions (treatment and prevention):
- Flu;
- Parainfluenza;
- Inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract;
- Rheumatic and inflammatory processes, accompanied by pain in the joints (in combination with other drugs).
Contraindications
A contraindication to the use of Aflubin is hypersensitivity to its components.
Method of administration and dosage
Aflubin should be taken half an hour before meals or one hour after meals. The drug for children under 1 year old is dissolved in a tablespoon of water or breast milk. Before swallowing the medicine, it is advisable to keep the liquid in the mouth for a while.
Recommended doses of Aflubin:
- Children under 1 year old - 1 drop or ½ tablet;
- Children aged 1 to 12 years - 5 drops or ½ tablet;
- Children over 12 years old and adults - 10 drops or 1 tablet.
The frequency of admission is up to 8 times a day in the first 2 days of illness and 3 times a day on subsequent days. The course of treatment varies from 5 to 10 days.
For preventive therapy, Aflubin should be taken in a standard single dosage 2 times a day for three weeks. For emergency prevention of viral diseases, the drug is taken in the same doses, but the duration of administration is 2 days.
With inflammation of the musculoskeletal system of a rheumatoid nature, accompanied by pain in the joints, the drug is prescribed in the following dosage:
- Children under 12 years old - 5 drops or ½ tablet;
- Teenagers from 12 years old and adults - 10 drops or 1 tablet.
In the first two days of the disease, the drug is taken up to 8 times a day, on the following days - up to 3 times a day. The course of treatment is 1 month.
Side effects
The use of Aflubin can cause increased salivation.
