Aspirin "York" is a drug with antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiaggregatory action.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - tablets (100 pcs. In a bottle).
The active ingredient is acetylsalicylic acid, in 1 tablet - 0.325 g.
Indications for use
The use of Aspirin "York" is shown:
- as an antipyretic agent for febrile conditions (including colds and infectious diseases, flu);
- as an anti-inflammatory agent for neuritis, arthritis, myositis, rheumatic pathologies, injuries with joint damage;
- as an analgesic for pain of various etiologies, including headache, dental, articular, muscle pain, migraine pain and neuralgia;
- as an antiplatelet agent for varicose veins of the lower extremities, thrombosis, angina pectoris, for the prevention of myocardial infarction.
Contraindications
- peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum;
- acute gastritis;
- bronchial asthma;
- bleeding from internal organs;
- kidney disease;
- the period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- age up to 3 years;
- individual intolerance to the drug.
With extreme caution, only as prescribed by a doctor, it is recommended to use Aspirin "York" in the treatment of children under the age of 12, especially with flu and chickenpox.
Method of administration and dosage
The tablets are taken orally with plenty of water.
Recommended dosage for adults:
- symptomatic therapy: the usual dose is 0.325-0.65 g (1-2 tablets) every 4 hours, but not more than 12 tablets per day;
- infectious-allergic myocarditis, rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis: 2-3 g per day;
- long-term therapy of thrombosis, coronary atherosclerosis, stroke: 0.05-0.1 g 1 time per day.
For the treatment of children 3–6 years old, 0.081 g (1/4 tablet) is prescribed, 6–12 years old - 0.162 g (1/2 tablet).
Side effects
- from the gastrointestinal tract (GIT): damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa;
- from the blood system: with prolonged use - anemia;
- allergic reactions: skin rashes, hyperemia, bronchospasm.
special instructions
If it is necessary to use the drug during lactation, breastfeeding should be suspended.
Do not drink alcohol while using the drug.
Drug interactions
With the simultaneous use of Aspirin "York":
- non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NPS), sulfonylurea derivatives - enhance their effect;
- furosemide, antihypertensive drugs and drugs for gout - reduce their effectiveness;
- glucocorticosteroids, anticoagulants, alcohol - increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
Terms and conditions of storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
The shelf life is 3 years.
