Asinis is a complex homeopathic medicine with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, detoxification and immunostimulating action. Reduces hypersecretion in the sinuses and significantly facilitates nasal breathing.
Release form and composition
Asinis is available in the form of homeopathic drops: transparent, with a yellowish tinge, with a specific odor (20 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml each in dark glass bottles with a dropper, one bottle in a cardboard box).
Composition of 100 ml drops:
- active ingredients (10 ml each): calcium sulfate, mercury sulfide red, potassium dichromate, yellow root canadian, horseradish Russian;
- auxiliary components: ethanol 43% by weight.
Indications for use
Asinis is used in the complex treatment of diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, including frontal sinusitis, sinusitis and chronic rhinitis.
Contraindications
The drug is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to its components.
Method of administration and dosage
Asinis drops are taken orally 30 minutes before meals or 1 hour after meals. The drug is taken in pure form or diluted in one tablespoon of water. Hold the drops in your mouth for 20-30 seconds before swallowing.
The recommended daily dose for adult patients and adolescents over 12 years of age is 30 drops (in 3 divided doses). The duration of the course is 2-4 weeks. If necessary and in agreement with the attending physician, a second course is possible after 1 month.
In the acute course of the disease, when a quick relief of symptoms is required, it is possible to take Asinis every 30-60 minutes until the patient's condition improves (but no more than eight times a day), then switch to the standard regimen - 3 times a day.
Side effects
During treatment with the drug, in rare cases, increased salivation may occur.

Since the Asinis drops contain natural plant components, during storage of the drug, the taste and smell may be weakened or the solution slightly cloudy. This does not affect the effectiveness of the drug, no dose change is required.
