Acogrippin is a homeopathic drug with immunostimulating action used to treat acute respiratory viral infection and influenza.
Release form and composition
Dosage form of Acogrippin:
- homeopathic granules: homogeneous, spherical regular shape, odorless, from white to white with a yellowish or grayish tinge of color (15, 30 or 50 g in a polymer can; in a cardboard box 1 can);
- sublingual homeopathic tablets: round flat-cylindrical shape, with a chamfer and a line, from white to white with a yellowish or grayish shade of color (15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 or 100 tablets in a polymer can, in a cardboard box 1 can; 10 or 20 tablets in a blister strip, in a cardboard box 1-6 or 10 packs).
Each pack also contains instructions for the use of Acogrippin.
Active substances in granules and tablets:
- atropa belladonna D6;
- aconitum napellus (aconitum) [Aconitum napellus (Aconitum)] D3;

The composition of 1 tablet contains 33 mg of each of the active substances.
Auxiliary components:
- granules: refined sugar, starch syrup;
- tablets: lactose, potato starch, calcium stearate.
Pharmacological properties
Acogrippin is a multicomponent homeopathic medicine. Its effect is due to the active substances included in the composition.
Indications for use
Acogrippin tablets and granules are used in complex therapy for the treatment and seasonal prevention of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza.
Contraindications
Absolute:
- fructose intolerance, sucrase / isomaltase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption;
- pulmonary tuberculosis;
- age up to 3 years;
- individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Relative (Acogrippin granules and tablets are used under medical supervision):
- pregnancy;
- lactation period.
Acogrippin, instructions for use: method and dosage
Homeopathic tablets sublingual and Acogrippin granules must be dissolved under the tongue. The drug is used 30 minutes before or 60 minutes after a meal.
The recommended single dose of Acogrippin used in the complex therapy of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza is:
- children 3–7 years old: 1/2 tablet or 3–5 granules;
- children 7–12 years old: 1 tablet or 5–7 granules;
- adults and children from 12 years old: 1 tablet or 9-11 granules.
Frequency of intake of granules: for 1-2 days - 5-6 times a day, during the next 7 days - 3-5 times a day, then until the 14th day - no more than 2 times a day.
In acute conditions, the daily dose of Acogrippin in the form of granules should be diluted in 1/2 glass of water and taken one teaspoon at a time (before swallowing, the solution must be held in the mouth for 10-15 seconds). The frequency of admission depends on the age of the patient: adults: up to 12 times a day (every hour); children: 6-8 times a day (every 2 hours).
Acogrippin sublingual tablets during the acute period (1-2 days), children 3-12 years old should be taken every 2 hours (up to 8 times a day), children from 12 years old and adults - every hour (up to 12 times a day). Then, in all age groups of patients, the frequency of administration is reduced to 3 times a day.
For the prevention of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza during an epidemic, Acogrippin is taken:
- granules: 2 times a day in a single dose determined for treatment depending on age;
- sublingual tablets: 1 pc. Once a day for children 3-12 years old; 2 pcs. 1 time per day for children over 12 years old and adults.
Side effects
No side effects have been reported. The development of allergic reactions is possible.
Overdose
Overdose cases have not been reported.

While taking Acogrippin, there may be a short exacerbation of the symptoms of the disease. In such cases, medical advice is required.
If during the first two days of therapy the condition does not improve, as well as if side effects appear, you should consult a doctor.
In the maximum daily dose of the preparation in the form of granules, the carbohydrate content corresponds to 0.114 grain units.
