Thrombless is a direct anticoagulant with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, decongestant and antiproliferative effects.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - gel for external use: transparent, colorless or with a slight yellowish tinge, with a specific odor (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 g each in plastic and aluminum tubes, 1 tube in a cardboard box).
Active substance: sodium heparin, in 1 g of gel - 1000 International units (IU), which corresponds to 8.33 mg with the activity of sodium heparin 120 IU / mg.
Additional components: purified water, propyl parahydroxybenzoate (nipazole, propylparaben), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (nipagin, methylparaben), carbomer (carbopol), ethyl alcohol, diethanolamine (2,2-iminodiethanol) to obtain a pH of 7.5–8.7.
Indications for use
- subcutaneous hematomas (including after phlebectomy);
- thrombophlebitis of superficial veins;
- local edema of soft tissues and aseptic infiltrates;
- migratory phlebitis (including with varicose ulcers and chronic varicose veins);
- injuries and bruises of muscle tissue, joints and tendons;
- complications after vein surgery.
Contraindications
- violation of the integrity of the skin due to injury;
- purulent and ulcerative necrotic processes on the skin;
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Carefully:
- thrombocytopenia;
- increased tendency to bleeding;
- pregnancy and lactation.
Method of administration and dosage
Trombless is applied externally.
The gel should be applied to the skin over the affected area with a rubbing motion. A single amount of the drug is a column 3–10 cm long. The frequency of use is from 1 to 3 times a day, depending on the nature of the disease.
In case of thrombosis of hemorrhoidal veins, it is recommended to use pads with an applied gel.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, an average of 3-7 days.
Side effects
Trombless is generally well tolerated. With long-term treatment, local phenomena may occur in the form of allergic reactions and skin hyperemia.

The drug has no local irritating effect.
Trombless should not be applied to mucous membranes and open wounds, used for bleeding and purulent processes.
Drug interactions
In the case of the simultaneous use of indirect anticoagulants, sodium heparin can prolong the prothrombin time.
Thrombless should not be prescribed during therapy with tetracyclines, antihistamines or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
