Tranexam is a drug belonging to the group of hemostatic drugs.
Pharmacological action of Tranexam
Tranexam is a fibrinolysis inhibitor. Has antifibrinolytic effect and prevents the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin. Its use is especially effective for bleeding accompanied by an increase in the content of fibrinolysin in the blood, for example, with platelet pathology or menorrhagia. According to the instructions, Tranexam can also be used as an antiallergic agent for the treatment of allergic dermatitis, urticaria, eczema. Also, Tranexam can be used in the complex therapy of angioedema (Quincke's edema).

Ways of using Tranexam
Tranexam tablets are taken:
- With repeated nosebleeds three times a day, 1.0 g for 7 days;
