Trekresil is an adaptogenic and restorative drug.

Release form and composition

The drug is produced in the form of tablets: round, flat-cylindrical, white or white with a yellow tint, with a risk and a chamfer (10 pieces in a blister strip, in a cardboard box of 1, 2, 3 or 5 packages and instructions for using Trekresil).

Trekresil belongs to the group of adaptogenic drugs. It stimulates the production of α- and γ-interferons, which determines the spectrum of its biological action - adaptogenic, immunostimulating. Oxyethylammonium methylphenoxyacetate, as a result of activation of humoral and cellular immunity, affects the immune status of the body, and also provides an increase in the phagocytic activity of macrophages. Currently, the exact mechanism of action of the drug has not been established. The above effects of the drug help to increase endurance in case of excessive physical and mental stress, weaken the effect of various toxins, increase the body's resistance to hypoxia, high and low temperatures and other environmental factors that have an adverse effect.

Pharmacokinetics

It has been established that the active substance Trekresil has a high bioavailability, is actively metabolized in the liver, and is eliminated by the kidneys, mainly in the form of glucuronides. With prolonged use, it does not accumulate in the body.

Pharmacokinetic parameters of the active component of the drug in elderly patients, adolescents 12–18 years old, patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency do not change significantly.

  • various stressful influences (hypothermia, overheating, hypoxia), unfavorable environmental influences (drops in atmospheric pressure, abrupt change in climatic conditions) - in order to enhance the stability and adaptation of the organism.

Contraindications

Absolute:

  • age up to 12 years;
  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • impaired absorption of glucose and galactose, lactase deficiency, hereditary lactose intolerance;
  • hypersensitivity to any component of the product.

It is required to use Trekresil with extreme caution in patients with diabetes mellitus.

Trekresil, instructions for use: method and dosage

Trekresil tablets are taken orally.

Recommended dosage regimen (as part of complex therapy) for adults and children over 12 years old:

  • SARS (for prevention): once a day, 200 mg (1 tablet) after meals; course - 14 days, total dose - 2800 mg (14 tablets);
  • ARVI (therapy), a period of increased mental and physical stress, various stressful influences and unfavorable environmental factors (for adaptation and increasing resistance): on the first day - 3 times a day, 200 mg, in the next 7 days - 1 time a day, 200 mg; course - 8 days, total dose - 2000 mg (10 tablets).

Side effects
