Release form and composition

Dosage form - coated tablets: round biconvex, dark brown (10 pcs. In blisters, in a cardboard box of 2, 4 or 6 blisters).

Active ingredients in 1 tablet:

• dry extract of rhizomes with valerian roots - 50 mg;
• dry extract of lemon balm leaves - 25 mg;
• dry extract of peppermint leaves - 25 mg.

Auxiliary components: magnesium stearate, corn starch, crospovidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, talc.

Shell composition: sucrose, hydroxypropyl cellulose (Pharmacoat, Hypromellose), sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, povidone, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, wax E Hoechst (Capol 600), glycerol, talc, brown dye 75.

• peppermint - characterized by antispasmodic and moderate sedative activity.

Indications for use

• Insomnia;
• Increased nervous irritability;
• Irritability.

Contraindications

• Arterial hypotension;
• Fructose intolerance, sucrase and isomaltase deficiency;
• Lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, lactose intolerance;
• Gallstone disease, cholangitis and other pathologies of the biliary tract;
• Age under 12;
• The period of pregnancy and breastfeeding;
• Hypersensitivity to drug components.

According to the instructions, Persen is recommended with caution to be prescribed to patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Persen tablets should be taken orally with plenty of water, regardless of food intake.

Recommended dosing regimen for adults and children over 12 years of age:

• Irritability, increased nervous irritability: 2-3 tablets 2-3 times a day;
• Insomnia: 2-3 tablets 0.5-1 hour before going to bed.

The daily dose should not exceed 12 tablets. The duration of treatment is no more than 2 months.
